Cancer Screening Tools for Identifying High Risk Patients
Identifying patients at increased risk for cancer provides opportunity to lower their risk through increased surveillance and preventive strategies. Utilize Progeny Genetics High Risk Cancer Triage tool to identify those at risk. The tool consists of an online questionnaire to gather their personal and family history of cancer at home or via tablet in the waiting room ahead of their appointment. Progeny then immediately compares their family history to published referral criteria for genetic counseling and/or testing for a wide variety of hereditary conditions such as HBOC, Lynch Syndrome, Hereditary Diffuse Gastric Cancer, Li Fraumeni and more. You can view and/or print a copy of the results for your staff to refer the patient for genetic counseling and/or testing.
