Progeny LIMS provides a flexible, user-configurable inventory system to meet the specific demands of any size lab.  Our sample tracking features include an easy to use interface, allowing you to accession, store and retrieve samples, aliquots and related data quickly. 

Multi-Level Inventory

Track any number of freezers, tanks, shelves, racks, boxes, and user-defined custom containers in a familiar tree-view interface.  Buildings and room locations are also available in the tree-view.

Custom Sample and Data Tracking

Track any kind of sample (blood, proteins, tissue etc) and any associated genotypic or phenotypic data through our customizable data entry screens.  Aliquots and their ‘parents’ are easily identifiable, and can be automatically named based on your specifications.

Generate 1D or 2D Barcodes

Advanced barcoding support saves data entry time and minimizes errors.  Generate 1D or 2D barcodes.  Print to any custom label size on any printer.  Associate barcodes with samples, containers, and actions.

Plate Management

Designate any size plate (such as 96 or 384-well plates), add samples to the plate using drag and drop, print out the plate layout, and export the layout with additional identifying information for genotyping platforms.

Create Custom Sample Reports

Custom reports can be generated and saved in just a few mouse clicks. Easily summarize your sample data based on any criteria or query.  You can search, query, view, sort, modify or enter data quickly in the spreadsheet.
