Complete Microsatellite and SNP Management

Progeny Lab provides complete marker management, allowing you to import microsatellites or SNPs from an entire genome-wide set (ie. Marshfield complete set, Affymetrix (500K, SNP Array 5.0 and 6.0), Illumina BeadChip arrays, user customized sets, etc), specific whole chromosomes, or markers from a specific genomic region. The software will also store cM distances and bp sizes which will maintain the order within the chromosome.  Marker handling also allows the user to create multiple custom sets, view microsatellites or SNPs on multiple different sets, create custom chromosomes (for studies on different species), and add additional markers to enhance a specific region.

With Progeny Clinical integration, microsatellite and SNP sets can be viewed on the pedigree in a new, more powerful interface similar to pedigree subtext.  The pedigree interface will allow for multiple formats of markers, providing the user to jump to specific sets, chromosome, and group of markers quickly.
