Genotype Data Management

The user can easily (without any additional pre-formatting) import data from multiple microsatellite and SNP genotyping platforms such as ABI, Affymetrix or Illumina directly into Progeny Lab.  The database has been optimized to handle the largest map sets, including the HapMap set (over 4 million SNPs).  The software also keeps a record of imports and all errors.

• Perform a number of error checks on your genotype data, including checking for zero alleles, missing markers, and control errors. 
• If integrating with Progeny Clinical, you can perform Mendelian error checks on imported data, display the conflict type and allow the user to jump straight to the pedigree at the exact error and allow for assessment.
• Compare and resolve discrepancies between newly imported results and any previous typing.
