An older version of Progeny would allow you to view a pedigree and data spreadsheet simultaneously. This made data entry much faster; name, age, dx, smoking status, whatever.
A new function that would be helpful would be the ability to select multiple individuals in the pedigree and change the vital status of all at one time.
Any chance of returning/adding these functions?

I've had this request from other Progeny users as well. We are monitoring the popularity of this request in our database and would consider adding it to the software in the future if other users would also find it valuable.

I agree. Being able to tile windows in progeny would be very useful. It seems like it would be a good way to compare two pedigrees to each other, do data entry while looking at the pedigree etc.
This would be a very nice function as it will be easier also for choosing individuals to genotype in large pedigrees, considering their position and affection status.
I agree, my colleagues who used the older version found that data entry was easier when the pedigree and spreadsheet could be tiled.
An option to select multiple individuals and change the vital status at one time would also be helpful.
