   I have a sample that is entered into progeny with the wrong label. I have tried to change this by editing the properties. I correct the sample name and select save at which point I get a message stating that the change has been successfully saved. When I re-open the sample however the sample appears with the old label. Any thoughts?

   Thanks for your post Lauren!

   When you reopen the sample, are you referring to the tab that displays the sample name? A field on the sample datasheet? Please clarify.

   If you are a LIMS user, the barcode will not be renamed if you rename the sample. You can create an action in the database to update the barcode in this instance.

   Thanks Lianne. I just looked back at the sample and it now appears correctly. I guess it just took some time for the change to go through.
