This question is for anyone who uses the workflows in LIMS. What do you do when a sample is done going through a workflow and doesn't need anything else done? I don't see any way to remove a sample from a workflow without putting it into another one. Maybe I am missing something since I am new to the workflow process. My only idea has been to put it into another workflow called 'completed' or something like that. Can anyone share with me what they are doing? Or, perhaps a new feature could be a reaction that removes sample from workflow like remove sample from container.

Thanks for your post Jamie! I would recommend adding a final stage to your workflow called 'Completed'. Then you would be able to maintain which samples ran through a particular workflow and show them as being completed. Another option would be to add another reaction to your final stage that updates a field to be marked as 'complete'. I will put in a feature request for adding a system reaction 'Remove from Workflow' which would clear the workflow and the workflow stage.
