Thanks Jamie,

You could also create a table that has a hyperlink field in it. This would allow you to link multiple images by adding rows for the table.

We do this in our lab by putting the folder location in the hyperlink field. When you click on it it will open the folder with all of the images for that person.

I have just recently started using Progeny 7 after a lot of work has been put into developing the database and the pedigrees. We are interested in digitizing a number of studies onto Progeny but we are running into a few issues such as the need to attach multiple scanned documents to an individual.

Using the Cancer Example from Demo as an example, what if we wished to attach images (scanned documents) of an individual's cancer(s) . One person in the pedigree may not have cancer while another could have multiple. Do we have to put in multiple fields into the data sheet and will that have to apply to each individual? If this is the case, can we alter the heading for each field to better describe what is being linked or shown?

Lastly, is this a reasonable, or feasible, route to take for trying to attach scanned records, documents, or images?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
