Progeny 7 Suite

I'm trying to specify two levels of location information for pedigrees as Pedigree Data Fields. Here I'll use the example of 'State' and 'County', each having its own field.
My goal would have each field have a drop down menu. 'States' would have a drop down menu to select from the possible entries. 'Counties' would also have a drop down menu, but the available values would be determined by the value selected in 'State.' Some State/County combinations are meaningless so I want to restrict the possible options to those that reflect reality.
I've tried various combinations of table / dropdown / and lookup tables to no avail. I'm unfamiliar with how progeny would handle a situation like this, any help would be apprecaited.

Thanks
Ryan

I have a table with some 13000 entries for each suburb. It identifies the suburb name, the postcode and the service area. Is there a way in which I can set the data entry field to locate the required suburb name by typing the first few characters of the name in stead of having to repeatiedly pressing the first character. This is not applicable with so many entries. For example ; It takes 76 * M to reach MU for 'Musswellbrook'.
