The problem is that Sybase interprets the values as fitting a date mask and tries to display the value as a date. The easiest way to get around this issue is to simply break the mask. </p> <p>If you were to simply insert a prefix or a suffix into the string, you wouldn't run into this issue. Would that work for you to have a prefix of "LID-" for instance to represent your local ID? If that is acceptable you can use the following:</p> <p>'LID-' + {Pedigree name} + {localid} </p>
