Client PC
For Progeny 8 Client Installation

• Windows® XP / Windows® 7
• Both 32 and 64-bit operating systems are supported for Windows 7                                       
• 1GB RAM minimum (2GB RAM Recommended)
• 200MB – 1GB hard drive space ( >200MB only necessary for local database storage)
• 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution

 

Database Server
For local network Progeny installations (non-web enabled)

• Windows® 2003/2008 Server and Linux
• Both 32 and 64-bit operating systems are supported
• 2GB RAM (4+GB recommended for large network installs)
• 200MB minimum hard drive space (5-10GB Recommended for long-term planning)

 

Web Server/FHQ
Add-on modules to Progeny Database server which enable Web Client access and Patient Questionnaire

• Windows® 2003/2008 Server
• Both 32 and 64-bit operating systems are supported
• NOTE: Linux servers NOT SUPPORTED for Progeny Web and FHQ
• 2GB RAM (4+GB highly recommended)
• Additional ~200MB required for Web module, Tomcat Server, and JRE
• Apache Tomcat Server Version 6.0
• Java Runtime Environment Version 6 (Update 24 or newer recommended)
• SSL Certificate
• Required for HIPAA compliancy
• 3rd party certificates are HIGHLY recommended

 

Web Client Access
For web client use - no installation required

• Windows XP/7 or MAC 10.6+ (Snow Leopard or Lion)
• Java Runtime Environment Version 6 (Update 24 or newer recommended)
• Chrome Version 5 or newer
• Firefox Version 3.6 or newer (Version 7 or newer HIGHLY recommended)
• Internet Explorer Version 8 or newer
• IE6 & IE7 NOT SUPPORTED
